Dariusz Matecki, a PiS MP, left his arrest in Radom today after the family paid half a million PLN of bail. The case raises great emotions and numerous questions about the further conduct of the investigation and the restrictions imposed on politics.
The Feelings of Getting Free
The District Court in Warsaw decided that Dariusz Matecki may leave the detention facility subject to the payment of 500 thousand PLN of the property guarantee. This amount was collected by the Member's family and the formalities were completed on Friday afternoon. After the transfer was booked by the National Prosecutor's Office, Matecki left the Investigative Arrest in Radom a few minutes after 5:00 p.m.

Although Dariusz Matecki regained his freedom, the case is not over. The Prosecutor's Office has applied for an extension of provisional detention to be investigated at the end of April. Before a Member a difficult time – he will have to put himself on the police force, obey the prohibitions and wait for further decisions of the court.
