Who was Michael "Joka" Marten?
Joka, or Michał Marten, was born on 12 May 1977. He was a rapper, songwriter and one of the most important creators of Polish hip-hop. Together with his brother Marcin "Abradab" Marten and Piotr "Magic" Łuszcie, he founded a .44 caliber group in 1993, which set a new direction for Polish rap music.
