Łukasz Porzuczek, the husband of the popular influencer Sylvia Peretti, was detained by the Central Anti-corruption Office. The man is one of five people detained in an extortion investigation over PLN 7.5 million EU funding.
The case concerns a project involving the development of technology for location, extraction and neutralisation of chemical ammunition sunk in the Baltic Sea. According to the prosecutor's office, suspects were to present unreliable documentation, fictitious costs of purchasing specialized equipment and using unreliable VAT invoices of a total value close to PLN 14 million.
What threatens Luke P.?
The detainees heard allegations, among others, of extortion of co-financing, fraud concerning the possession of great value, the certification of untruth in documents and tax offences. The most serious of these – so-called VAT crimes, are threatened by penalties from 5 to 25 years in prison.
The Court applied to Luke P. arrest for three months. His brother also heard the charges, but did not go to jail.

"The equipment was developed in the spring of this year, which confirms its usefulness. I assure you that despite the absence of your husband Work and orders are continuously executed by employees. I hope that the matter will soon be clarified, and Luke will return to the realization of all his innovative projects with great passion and his inexhaustible energy. The case is developmental and was extended until February 2027.
