How does today's WIBOR 3M affect the mortgage payment?
The interest rate on your mortgage is WIBOR 3M plus a bank margin – this margin usually amounts to 2 to 2.5 percent and is constant throughout the duration of the contract. This means that today WIBOR 3M at 3.85% of the total loan rate may be around 5.85% to 6.35%, depending on the bank and the terms of your contract.

WIBOR and car and company leasing
Not only housing owners have to track WIBOR rates. The leasing companies also base their financing costs on market rates, including WIBOR – that's why when WIBOR grows or falls, it can affect how much you pay monthly for a car or machine in a leasing. This is particularly important for small companies and entrepreneurs who lease vehicles or equipment.
