What is WIBOR? Short explanation

WIBOR is simply the price at which Polish banks lend each other money – the higher WIBOR, the more expensive money is on the market. For ordinary Kowalski, this is mainly because banks add this rate to their margin and thus calculate the mortgage interest rate. Simply put: when WIBOR rates increase, credit instalments increase, and when they fall – instalments decrease.
