What is WIBOR? Short explanation
WIBOR is simply the rate at which Polish banks lend each other money. Banks report each working day at 11:00 a.m. on the conditions under which they are prepared to lend money to other banks – and WIBOR emerges from these notifications. For you as a normal person, this is important mainly because banks include this rate in the interest rate on loans, i.e. your mortgage.
