The funeral of Tadeusz Duda, a suspect in the double murder of his daughter and son-in-law in the Old Village near Limanowa, was held on Monday, July 7, 2025 in Kamienica (Malopolska province). The celebration was Catholic, even though Duda took his own life after committing the crime.

Although the family wanted to keep the burial secret, many mourners came to the church, and the celebrations were held under police protection and supervision. At Mass, when the priest began the ceremony, suddenly a violent wind broke and a raging rain poured out: "As if God gave any sign," they were to whisper to the assembled. He emphasized that only God knows the heart of man and gives everyone a chance of salvation. He also quoted St. Faustina, drawing attention to mercy that can reach man even at the last moment of his life.
