Rockstar releases GTA VI Launch Trailer with new track and music stars

Rockstar Games released the Launch Trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on Thursday, October 15. The studio confirmed that the game will go on sale on November 19.

The announcement came from Rockstar Games’ official account on X. The trailer appeared at around 3:00 p.m. Polish time.

Music in the Trailer

According to Rockstar’s post, the trailer debuts the track “Flower in a Hurricane”. The studio credits the duo Justice, who composed the game’s original soundtrack, and guest artists Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar did not provide details in the post about the single’s release or its availability on streaming services.

Release Date Unchanged

The post reminds fans that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19. This is a date the studio has already maintained – we wrote about it in our article on the November release being upheld. The game is set to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series. The release was previously delayed, as we reported when the new date was announced.

Since the first announcements, Rockstar has mostly shown trailers building the game’s world and characters. This time the material is called Launch Trailer, which fits the final stage of the campaign before release.

What Comes Next

Five weeks remain until release. According to unofficial reports from insiders, media outlets may receive review copies as early as October – this is the subject of a separate article, though Rockstar has not officially confirmed this information.

What It Means for Players

For those planning to buy, the most important points are the confirmed November 19 date and the platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series. The studio does not announce a PC version in this statement. The trailer is available for free on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel:
