Sigismund Chajzer spends his joyful moments in prison

A new hit appeared in the reality television world, which sparks controversy and laughter simultaneously. "Experiment: Penitentiary" is a production of Canal+, in which celebrities, including the famous presenter Zygmunt Chajzer, voluntarily go to prison for the former investigative detention in Bartoszice. The program aims to show how stars cope in harsh prison conditions, sharing targets with former convicts. But is it really jail time, or is it fun? The latest clips suggest that it's a pleasure for Chajzer!

What kind of program is this?

"Experiment: Penitentiary" is a debut reality show Canal+, filmed in an authentic, though inactive detention in Bartoszice. Participants including Zygmunt Chajzer, Tomek "Gimper" Dzialowy, Damian "Stifler" Zduńczyk, Michał Koterski, Mini Majk or Jakub Butcherczak are subject to a regime resembling a real prison. They share targets with repeat offenders, have to follow strict rules and face the stress of everyday life behind bars. According to Canal+, the program is to set the direction for future productions, showing the collision of two worlds: celebrities and the criminal world.

The authors emphasize that it is not fiction – participants really experience isolation, control and interaction with former prisoners. However, psychologists criticize the format, calling it "socially dangerous", because it can underestimate the reality of the prison system.

Joyful Moments of Zygmunt Chajzer

Zygmunt Chajzer, an icon of Polish television marketing and presenter, known for his optimism and charisma, seems to be found perfectly in this unusual environment. In a viral clip from the show that ran around TikToka and X (formerly Twitter), we see him in a green prison uniform, smiling and relaxed. "He likes food," "Nice boys." In another scene co-seeded says, "I find myself a peasant", and even jokes, "I am glad that I am not new here." Looks like Chayzer treats it like an adventure, not a punishment!

The clips also show interactions with fellow prisoners – one of them is tattooed by a repeat offender who introduces Chajzer into "a prison savor-vivre". The presenter quickly adapts, which surprises viewers. In talks after the show, Chajzer admitted that he was wondering if he could handle it mentally, but eventually came out reinforced.

Internet reactions and controversy

The program quickly became an Internet hit. On the X user post @jachcy with Chajzer's clip collected thousands of likes and comments. Some laugh: "Zyga Chajzer is happy to be in crime and ch*j xdddd", others criticize: "Another stage of tame with pathology" or "Painful!". Spectators are divided into those who praise the courage of celebrities, and those who see in it the promotion of pathology.

On TikToku Canal+ Poland made available fragments that gained millions of views, showing Chajzer in funny situations. The whole thing is an experiment, but for many, it's just fun.

Where to look?

The first two episodes of "Experiment: Penitentiary" are already available on Canal+ online platform. If you want to see Chajzer spend these happy moments behind bars, sign in and check it out!

The program evokes emotion, but one thing is certain: Zygmunt Chajzer proves that even in prison there are positives. Is this life lesson or show business? I want you to judge for yourselves.
