Two men were detained in Warsaw, who were responsible for trying to market a dangerous liquid "rape tablet", the so-called GHB. 44-year-old Pole and 34-year-old Ukrainians heard serious charges, and the court decided to make their temporary arrest.

Midtown police tracked down two men connected to a drug underworld.As a result of the actions, a 44-year-old Polish citizen and a 34-year-old Ukrainian citizen were detained, who had significant amounts of drugs, including clofedron, ecstasy and bottles with a liquid form of GHB, colloquially called a "rape pill".
GHB is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gamma-hydroxybutyric acid that easily dissolves in drinks and drinks. The use of this drug causes partial or complete loss of consciousness and takes away the ability of rational thinking, making the victim susceptible to various crimes, such as theft or rape.

During the search of the detainees, police secured several dozen small empty vials to be filled with liquid GHB and sold on the black market. In addition, Polish and Ukrainian identity documents of other people have been found, which additionally burdens the Ukrainian citizen, who will also be responsible for using other people's documents.


Effects and legal implications
Thanks to effective police action, dangerous substances did not reach potential audiences, which could have prevented many tragedies. Both men heard allegations of possession of significant amounts of drugs and preparations for placing them on the market.They are facing up to 10 years in prison. The court applied three months of temporary detention to suspects.
