During Friday’s “Salt Wave” concert in Jastarnia, rapper Bedoes set himself on fire on stage. The incident took place on 1 August 2025. While performing the song “Delfin”, someone backstage doused his jacket with a flammable substance and set it alight with a torch.
A Controlled Blaze
Although the rapper’s clothes caught fire, Bedoes continued rapping for several dozen seconds, walking out onto the stage and performing a verse with the lines “If it has to be done, I’ll do what has to be done”. Shortly afterwards, he jumped into a water pool set up on the stage to put out the flames.
The whole event was a deliberate artistic effect and a pyrotechnic display, which generated great enthusiasm and excitement among the audience. In the media and on TikTok, numerous fan reactions appeared, highlighting the rapper’s courage and originality: “Bedoes is on fire, and we’re still so small… I love him”.
It is not entirely clear whether this happening was connected to Bedoes’s ongoing beef with rapper Eripe, but the media and speculation suggested it could be a symbolic gesture or a reference to those events. Bedoes is known for incorporating spectacular stage elements, such as fire throwers and a motorcycle during performances, and this show was one of only three opportunities to see the artist live this year, following his break from the media and from touring.
Conflict with Eripe
Rappers Bedoes 2115 and Eripe had a loud conflict and a physical confrontation at the Sun Festival in Kołobrzeg in July 2025. The dispute began with Eripe’s lines in the track “Level Down”, which mocked Bedoes and his crew. Amid the rising tension, a brawl broke out under one of the hotels, during which Bedoes punched Eripe, causing Eripe to lose consciousness for several dozen seconds. Witnesses say Bedoes did not let Eripe get a word in, and the conflict escalated rapidly. After the fight, Bedoes apologised to Eripe for the incident. Reactions in the rap community were mixed, but some, like rapper Koro, felt Bedoes’s behaviour was inappropriate.
Following this incident, Eripe released a diss track aimed at Bedoes, and the beef drew considerable attention from fans and hip-hop media. It remains unclear whether the conflict will ultimately be resolved, as the atmosphere remains tense and further diss tracks are expected.
