While the eyes of all Poland were turned on Karol Nawrocki, the new President of Poland, his wife, Marta Nawrocka, unexpectedly stole some of the attention. This was due to a thoughtful but uncontroversial styling. Her image sparked a stir among both political and fashion commentators. Is it the birth of a new style icon, or maybe another scandal?
Pastel blue, which is what ladies like most
For the official part of the oath Marta Nawrocka chose Blue costume. A subtle suit of classic cut, consisting of a pencil skirt and a waisted jacket with a high collar. Blue, not an accidental choice, is a color of safety, elegance and peace, carrying a message of a mild but determined character of the First Lady.
The styling, though minimalist, immediately evoked associations with influential women in the world of politics and fashion. It was compared to Brigitte Macron, Melania Trump, and even to Jackie Kennedy. British stylist Natalie Courtois saw in Navrocka a resemblance to Carolyn Bessette-Kenneda, wife of John F. Kennedy Jr., known for her timeless elegance and simplicity.
Experts: elegance with potential, but not without stumbling
Polish stylists were not unanimous in their opinions. Designer Ewa Minge appreciated the Nawrocka class, but pointed out the too high navy collar.
I feel that the frame of creation is too high and I think it should be shortened by an inch so that it does not touch the jaw line. The pictures show that she does not give 100% freedom of movement. Of course, it's not Mrs. Marty's fault, it's the construction of this outfit. This architectural creation, especially with such a feminine figure and beautiful bust as the first lady has, required more precision, which failed. At certain moments, the front rises inadvertently up and clearly pulls the sleeve. In general, however, Mrs Marta looks good and possible comparisons to Melania Trump or Brigitte Macron should not surprise because styling is embedded in trends. The first lady looks nice, but the coolest accent is her smile – said Ewa Minge newspaper, "Fact".
In turn, stylist Ewa Rubasinska-Ianiro described the styling as elegant, but devoid of polish. In her opinion, the creation of Marty Nawrocka resembles the iconic set of Brigitte Macron from the Louis Vuitton collection.
Afternoon surprise
On the same day, Nawrocka presented herself in a second styling, a white jacket with a Basque and wide black trousers. This set has given the public more excitement. Although experts stressed that the set was braver and more individual, there were allegations of a distortion of the proportion of the figure.
According to Rubasinska-Ianiro, the Basque woman with such wide trousers looks theatrical. She thinks it's a strong accent, but not for this occasion. Some commentators, however, appreciated the attempt to break the formal tone and show another face of the First Lady, more modern, with a note of nonchalance.
Hair as a subtle transmission of strength
Marty Nawrocka’s hairstyle was greatly appreciated. Classic low Chignon-style clipping, with released bands. The experts considered it an ideal example of "soft power look" – that is, subtle communication of strength, peace and competence without vulgarity or ostentatization. It's a style that often chooses women with important public functions like Queen Letizia or Catherine, Princess of Wales.

Although the debut of Marty Nawrocka did not go without criticism, one thing is certain: she showed that she had her own vision. Her style is a combination of classics and personalized finesse.
