🇧🇬 Bulgaria – Cheap Holidays on the Black Sea
Bulgaria is the most budgeted European holiday destination available from Poland in the category sea And the sun. Golden Sands and Sunny Beach offer extensive hotel infrastructure, long sandy beaches and low prices – both in hotels and restaurants. The Black Sea is calmer than the Adriatic and Baltic Sea, warm (up to 25–26°C) and safe for children.
Golden Sands vs Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is the largest and most extensive resort – a rich hotel offer (including all inclusive), shops, restaurants, nightlife. He gets loud. Golden Sands are calmer, closer to Varna (the second largest city of Bulgaria), with a beautiful and wide beach. For families with small children we recommend the surroundings of Albeny or Primorsko – quieter and intimate.
Is Bulgaria safe?
Yes – it is a European Union country (although outside the Schengen area, which could result in queues), which is generally safe for tourists. It is worth watching for pickpockets in crowded resorts and checking the bills in restaurants – there are unfair practices towards tourists. The currency is Bulgarian lion (BGN), a fixed rate against the euro.
