Local vision in Kadłuba: 17-year-old Łukasz G. returned home and closely recreated the double homicide

On March 5, 2026, a local vision was conducted at a house in Kadłuba involving 17-year-old Luke G., a suspect in the brutal killing of 87-year-old great-grandmother and 38-year-old stepfather.

A teenager, brought from prison, returned to the scene from the night of February 25 to February 26, and in detail reconstructed the course of tragic events. According to the spokesman of the District Attorney's Office in Opole, Stanisław Bar, Łukasz G. indicated the specific premises where he carried out the attacks, described the order of the acts, showed the places of use of the murder tools – an axe and a hammer – and the moment at which he recorded audio and video from the massacre, and then published material on the Internet.

During the trial, the suspect behaved exceptionally calmly and mastery: he was logical, orderly, fully oriented as a performer. Prosecutor Bar stressed that the teenager "described the crimes committed in detail and pointed to the order of the individual acts" and also confirmed that he himself was the author of the recordings and that he put them online.

On one of the secured materials, you can see how the perpetrator looks at the camera with a smile after hitting the sleeping woman – this detail also emphasizes cold premeditation.

However, the local vision did not bring a breakthrough on the most important issue: the motive for the crime remains unclear. Łukasz G. repeated earlier explanations that there had been certain events in his life (including mobbing at work) that he thought would push him to do so, but the prosecution judged these arguments to be insufficient and inconclusive.

Investigators are still waiting for the results of psychiatric and psychological expertise to determine the degree of sanity of a teenager at the time of the act.

Łukasz G. is in temporary custody and responds as an adult for a double homicide with particular cruelty. He is facing punishment from 15 to 30 years of imprisonment – life is excluded due to age (less than 18 years at the time of action).

The D.A. announces that the next steps depend on the expert opinion. The case continues to shake the public, and the media remind us of the calls of the service: do not share or watch drastic footage from the scene, so as not to cause suffering to the family of victims.
