La Noti, 61 farmer and a grandfather from the village of Majapahit in the province of Sulawesi Southeast, left Friday morning 4 July to feed his chickens. When he didn't come home, a concerned family began searching.
The villagers found an abandoned motorcycle of a man at the edge of the forest, prompting them to search the surrounding areas. Near a small garden shed they encountered a giant python lying still in dense vegetation.
