Dramatic search completed by gruesome discovery
La Noti, a 61-year-old farmer and grandfather from the village of Majapahit in the province of Sulawesi South-East, left Friday morning 4 July to feed his chickens. When he didn't come home, a concerned family began searching.
The villagers found an abandoned motorcycle of a man at the edge of the forest, prompting them to search the surrounding areas. Near a small garden shed they encountered a giant python lying still in dense vegetation.
The snake, measuring about 8.5 metres long, looked anxiously swollen And he couldn't move.. Suspecting the worst, residents decided to kill the animal and examine its contents.
