What is WIBOR? Short explanation
WIBOR is simply the rate at which banks in Poland lend each other money. The higher WIBOR, the more expensive the money on the market – and this translates into higher instalments of loans with variable interest rates. Simply put: WIBOR is a thermometer that shows how much it costs to borrow money in Poland today.
