Hospital Southern in Warsaw, he made all the agreements with David Kacprzyk – a 29-year-old doctor in the process of specialization in anesthesiology, councillor of Ursus district on behalf of the Civic Coalition.
Information was confirmed by the directorate of the facility. The decision came after a wave of media reports and checks that revealed controversy over earnings and the actual working time of the doctor.
What did the media reveal?
In 2025 David Kacprzyk earned money over PLN 1.6 million (mainly from contracts in public facilities). According to the South Hospital schedule, he was supposed to work on average 331 hours per month – which is a value extremely high and practically impossible to carry out with simultaneous political and media activities.
Journalists established that during the hours in which he was scheduled to be on SOR, Kacprzyk participated in the sessions of district councils, television shows and political meetings.
Reactions
- Hospital South confirmed the termination of the contracts.
- The Chief Medical Board initiated an investigation.
- The Warsaw Office and the National Health Fund are under control.
Dawid Kacprzyk was the coordinator of the Hospital Rescue Branch, although he does not yet have specialization (he is undergoing anesthesia). This function was taken up after a competition only one person applied to.
The case sparked tremendous public outrage and discussion of pathologies in the medical contract system in public hospitals.
Update: David Kacpzak also resigned from membership of the Civic Coalition.
