David Kacprzak, former Councillor of the Civic Coalition and a doctor who earned over PLN 1.6 million in 2025, returned to the Warsaw Southern Hospital PLN 500 thousand.
According to the capital city hall, since 15 June Kacprzak corrected 33 invoices covering the period from 31 January 2025 to 16 June 2026. The money was transferred to the hospital account.
"Register" or "register"?
The City Office uses euphemism "corrigated invoices". Critics say plainly: the doctor, after the matter of his record earnings and doubtful presence on duty broke out in the media, tries to save himself from prosecutors and criminal responsibility.
The Southern Hospital has already made all the agreements with Kacprzyk, and is now preparing a report on the possibility of committing fraud. The case is also dealt with by the Chief Medical Chamber and the prosecution.
Context of the affair
A 29-year-old doctor with no specialization was the coordinator of the Hospital Rescue Department. According to graphic designers, he was supposed to work an average of 331 hours a month – which means more than 11 hours a day throughout the year without leave. At the same time, he was politically active, acted on television, and served as a councillor in Ursus district.
The case has sparked huge public outrage – especially in the context of staff problems in public hospitals and patient queues.
