Imagine a lollipop that smells and tastes like a... unwashed penis. There's this ridiculous product in Paris. Is this a joke, a scandal or a brilliant marketing stunt?
Why the crazy idea?
In France, a man began selling lollipops with an extremely provocative taste — To mimic the smell of an unwashed penis.
His idea is to "democratise" the body's smell and break the taboo of sex without ideal hygiene.
What began as a joke became a serious project: it examined aromas and sweeteners to recreate the most "natural" effect.
The developed taste profile reportedly contains strong notes of parmesan (to imitate intensity), as well as notes resembling semen, urine, sweat and saliva.
Currently this "experience" is sold for about 6 euros 🤢
French entrepreneur Julien Corbineau launched the sale of a limited series of lollipops "Dick Licker". The taste mimics the smell of an unwashed male organ – a mixture of sweat, sebum and bacteria. Sales began in March 2026 through the Dicklicker.fr website, and the first parties sold out in hours.
Corbineau, an artist and perfumer, created him as a provocation. "I wanted to make people confront taboo" – says in an interview with Vice France. The product costs 6 euro per piece, packed in foil with a warning: "For the brave".
How does a lollipop come into being?
The process requires chemical precision. Here are the key stages:
- Taste base: Synthetic compounds such as isovalerian or skatole, known for its body smells (similar to those in Tom Ford Oud Wood perfumes).
- Sensory tests: A group of testers evaluated samples to hit "authenticity"
- Packaging: Minimalist, humorous label "Hygiene Zero".
They do not use natural pheromones – everything laboratory, safe for health (EU certification given on the manufacturer's website).
World reactions – from laughter to outrage
French divided. On TikToku #DickLicker has 2 million views – reviews range from "disgusting masterpiece" to "worst joke ever". Feminists protest, calling it misogyny, but gay community praises irony.
