Biggest LEGO set in history: Sagrada Família (12 000 pieces) and 60 hours of folding

Imagine a church that has been built for over 140 years, and now you can put it home alone. Lego prepares the largest set in history: Sagrada Família with 12,000 elements. It is a challenge for fans of patience and creativity.

What does this record LEGO set cover?

🚨 The Greatest Collection of Lego Times!!

The largest Lego set in history will soon be sold – it will be the legendary Sagrada Família, consisting of 12,000 blocks 🤯

It's gonna take 60 hours to put this thing together...

Lego Icons Sagrada Família (set number 10276, premiere planned for summer 2026) beats all records. The manufacturer confirms: 12,000 elements make it the largest model in the company's history.

The set measures 86 cm high, 48 cm wide and 36 cm deep. It scales the famous Basilica of Antonio Gaudi of Barcelona in detail: towers, facades with sculptures and stained glass. Price? Around €450-500, depending on the market.

History of Sagrada Família – from Gaudí to Lego

True construction takes forever

Started in 1882, Sagrada Família was to be ready in 1926. Today, after 142 years, it continues – the goal: completion in 2026. 300 craftsmen work here, 18,000 m3 of stone has already been used.

Lego reflects this chaos of genius: organic shapes, inspired by nature, like trees or shells. It is not a dry model – it is a tribute to the architectural miracle.

How do you make a monster out of 12,000 blocks?

Officially Lego estimates 60 hours of work. By comparison, the average Duplo set takes 30 minutes and the average Icons – 10-15 hours. There's a marathon waiting!

An ideal gift for adults (18+) who miss childhood. In Poland available in Smyk or Empik from the premiere.
