The 26-year-old Elva, who came into the world as Wojtek, for several years herself injected silicone purchased online. It started with an injection lipolysis twice a week, then went into face filling – initially once a week, and eventually even every day. The result is serious permanent facial deformities that he is now fighting in the surgeon's office.
In a moving interview with the program Good morning TVN Elva spoke honestly about what led her to this:
"I started with the fat-soluble injections I did twice a week. Then when that face started getting too thin, I was slowly filling myself up... I got a little carried away at some point. I bought a drug for injection lipolysis and silicone by Internet. This is generally easy to find on the Internet. I did silicone injections at first once a week, and then I got a little carried away and I took them every day."
Elva admitted that at that time she lived and worked in Warsaw. Most of her money took up rent, so she could not afford professional aesthetic medicine treatments in professionals. She decided to "improve" her own beauty in front of a mirror in her apartment.
Complex treatment
Today Elva undergoes a multi-stage correction of deformation under the supervision of an aesthetic medicine specialist. Doctors emphasize that the issue is very difficult – silicone has spread in facial tissues and is not easy to remove. As medical professionals warn, trying to remove the substance from the eye can cause silicone to move from other parts of the face, including the forehead.
History Elvy has become loud in the media and the Internet in recent days. Many commentators treat it as a drastic warning against independent aesthetic medicine treatments and buying uncertified preparations by Internet.
