Letter from father of murdered Maya

The father of the murdered Maya of Mława in the described film expresses deep fatigue and helplessness towards the ever-extensive extradition procedure of the suspect. He emphasizes that the whole family is exhausted and does not understand the reasons why the case has been dragging so long. He is most interested in justice and the swift resolution of the matter, which he believes is taking way too long.
The father of 16-year-old Maya, brutally murdered in Mława, decided to publicly appeal to the minister, not allowing the tragedy of his family to be forgotten.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are very grateful for your commitment and support, because it is thanks to you that almost everyone knows about the murder of our Mai. If it wasn't for your pressure and your desire to know the truth, the matter would have been forgotten.
Today we ask for your help again. We have prepared an open letter to the Minister of Justice because we cannot allow the call for justice to be met with indifference and ignorance.
Letter open to the Minister of Justice
Dear Minister, I am the father of late Mai Kowalski, a 16-year-old girl brutally murdered on 23 April 2025 in Mława. Our daughter was taken from us in an unimaginably cruel way. Everything in life was taken from us. From that day on, our lives have become hell, we don't sleep, we can't function properly. The suspect of our daughter's murder is currently in Greece, and an extradition procedure is underway so that he can face Polish justice. From the information we have, it appears that court meetings are repeatedly postponed. In June, I was informed that the decision would take place in July or September, but in September, two hearings had already been postponed, including a meeting scheduled for 26 September 2025, to be final. The next meeting was not scheduled for about 40 days, and the decision to transfer the suspect to Poland was still not made. As parents, we ask the Minister to: • the personal supervision of this matter, • support for the activities of Polish prosecutors and law enforcement authorities, • take diplomatic action to accelerate extradition of the suspect. We don't know where to find help anymore. We feel left to ourselves. We do not want our tragedy to be forgotten or procedural delays to prevent justice. We believe that in your hands there is an opportunity to accelerate action on this matter and that you will do everything possible so that the process can finally begin in Poland. This is our last hope of even a shadow of justice after losing our child. With serious
