There are no shortages of sharp comments on the network. Krzysztof Stanowski showed that even a wave of criticism can turn into thousands of dollars paid for activity on X.
Heyt, motors and dollar transfers
Channel Zero creator and active political life commentator strongly marked their presence on platform X (formerly Twitter). In recent days Stanowski has published a wire transfer for over $3,700 – over PLN 13 thousand. As he himself acknowledged with a snack, most of this money was earned by people who regularly criticized him in comments. In fact, he said: "Could you insult me twice as intensely?" – this quote sparked stormy discussions among netizens.
What is X paying for? Key coining mechanisms
Platform X introduced the Creator Revenue Sharing – a program that allows you to earn thanks to a high number of views and engagement of recipients.
- The creator must have an active Premium or Verified account, a minimum of 5 million organic views in 3 months and 500 verified followers.
- Earnings generate primarily reactions to posts – likes, answers, comments.
- The more interaction and emotion under the entries, the higher the earnings.
In Stanowski's case, the most active turned out to be the so-called "motors" – i.e. people regularly commenting, and often criticizing or insulting the creator about the views that often coincide with Roman Gierty and his sect of followers. Paradoxically, their presence in the discussion directly translates into an increase in payments from X.
Phenomenon of hate coining – can anyone make money?
The phenomenon in which hate drives the earnings of influencers or journalists is becoming increasingly common. Understanding the mechanisms is crucial:
- The more controversy and sharp exchanges, the more X algorithms show posts to others.
- Intensive discussions (also negative) generate more traffic and hence higher revenue of creators.
- Stanowski's example shows that even fans and opponents can "work together" on a monthly transfer.
Stanowski: I earn thanks to my own haters
This attitude creates mixed feelings on the web. For some, it proves that it is worth ignoring and not supporting their "antagonists". For others – clever use of new Internet rules.
Stanowski shows that in the globalised world of social media, it is no longer just positive reception. Sometimes, even the most critical comment can turn into... a dollar into an account of the creator.
Conclusions: Contrarguments, strategies and perverseness of the modern network
You know, making money out of a hat is controversial. It's a signal that the boundary between criticism and the creator's support has been blurred. The activity of "engines" depends not only on recognition, but also on monthly pay.
Stanowski concludes: "Write a few more times, please. I have sick needs." – and it is difficult to have a more clear comment on the new realities of Polish X.
