Leonid Radvinsky, Ukrainian-American billionaire and majority owner of the OnlyFans platform, is dead. He died at age 43 after a long and secret fight against cancer.
On Monday, she informed the platform herself of his death by issuing a brief, touching statement. "We are very sad to report on Leo Radvinsky’s death. Leo left peacefully after a long fight with cancer.
His family asks to respect privacy at this difficult time," said OnlyFans spokesman. Radvinsky was born on May 30, 1982 in Odessa, Ukraine, in a Jewish family.
As a child, he emigrated to Chicago. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in economics. Already as a student he built an empire in the Internet industry – first sites with slogans and referendums, later in 2004 he founded
MyFreeCams, one of the largest camgirl platforms of the time. In 2018, he bought a 75-percent stake in Fenix International, a company-mother OnlyFans, from its founder Tim Stokely.
It was under his direction that the platform became a global phenomenon. From the inconspicuous subscription service Radvinsky created a billion-dollar power.
OnlyFans focused on adult content, attracting millions of creators and over 300 million users. At its peak, the platform generated over $6.6 billion in revenue per year, and Radvinsky himself paid hundreds of millions of dollars of dividends – only in 2024 over 700 million. His estate was estimated at $4.7 billion.
He was known as an extremely secretive man. He avoided the media, did not give interviews, and rarely appeared publicly. At the same time, he engaged in philanthropy – he donated tens of millions for cancer research, aid Ukraine after Russia's invasion and animal welfare organizations.
In 2023 there were reports of his alleged donation of $11 million to AIPAC, but the businessman himself denied this information. Radvinsky's death ends a chapter in the history of OnlyFans.
The platform, which revolutionized the content market created by users, loses its main architect. For now, no details have been given on the future of the company or the successor. Family and family ask for respect for their privacy.
The world of adult entertainment and digital business goodbyes one of the most influential, though least visible billionaires of the last decade. Leonid Radvinsky was only 43 years old.
