Dino's store manager in Sochaczew lost her job after she reported a problem with low temperatures and let in MP Adrian Zandberg. The manager of the Dino Polska network market in Sochaczew was released after she raised the problem of low temperature at work and allowed Adrian Zandberg to enter the premises during the intervention.

Katarzyna Kiwerska managed Dino Polska store in Sochaczew. First she alerted the control panel at too low temperatures in the warehouse and in the sales room – thermometers showed up to 2-6 st. C.

When this did not help, she reported the case to the State Labour Inspectorate and the trade union. She finally let the MP in. Adrian Zandberg for a parliamentary intervention, which measured the temperature at 8 degrees C and called the conditions "inhuman".

A few days later, it came. disciplinary dismissal because of "a serious breach of obligations". The gal thinks it's payback for making the problem sound.

Reactions and controversy

The trade union of the OPZZ Labour Confederation called it a scandal. They stress that the release procedures were flawed and workers still work in the cold.

The Minister of Labour Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk reacted sharply: "Reckoning the health of colleagues is an attitude worthy of praise, not of retaliation".

Dino's network doesn't comment. This raises questions about compliance with the work code – the minimum temperature for light work is 18 degrees C.
